so my friend never includes myself or our other friend in her plans. it's her birthday weekend and she's made plans with everyone but us. it's as if she doesn't want her friend groups to co-mingle. like the world will implode or some cosmic balance will be upset.

what she doesn't know, i presume, is that we feel left out and unwanted when she doesn't include us. last night, while she was out with some people, had she texted us asking us to join up with them for her birthday, we would've gladly hopped in the car and met up. we were hanging out together after all.

it just sucks, i have so few close friends, and i feel like it's shrinking.

i know she has a lot going on in her life, but when you're down, your friends are there to bring you up.
